Our challenge:
Provide an engaging empowering way for Service members and veterans to tell their trauma story visually.
The Platform:
The web-based storytelling tool has multiple modes for art creation (via digital collage), arranging imagery into a graphic narrative, writing a story about the sequence, and presenting the story to others. Asset library supports telling stories of combat trauma and military sexual trauma, as well as reintegration challenges.
A robust collaging interface with rich asset library provides opportunities to represent a variety of stories and memories.
Sequencing Mode is a way to arrange memory fragments into a cohesive timeline.
A user may desire to show this sequence and verbalize their experience, or write a story about the event using Story Mode.
